One way I have sensed the presence of God, is when I meditate on certain scriptures He leads me to read.

Genesis 8:20
Then Noah built an altar to the LORD and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it.

Where did Noah get the wood for the burnt offerings? He was on top of a very high rocky mountain. All the trees were probably destroyed and defiantly very wet. I believe he took pieces of the Ark to burn the sacrifice. The same Ark which was his safe secure shelter from the Flood and destruction, Noah now burns it on the alter in thankfulness. Noah sacrifice’s his security, for the Lords security. Can we?

We are all called to work 11/8/08

I saw a wagon full of God’s gifts and words. People were pushing the wagon up a hill.
I saw other people running along side the wagon, pointing and looking inside, being very excited about what they saw. Some people were just standing around, not even aware of the wagon.
As they pushed the wagon up the hill, some people had to stop and rest, while others held the wagon from rolling back down the hill.
The people that had stopped; started pushing the wagon again after being refreshed. The people, who had been holding the wagon now, get to rest.
The rest and refreshing is when we are hearing from the Lord.
There is a time to push, a time to hold, and a time to rest. Be in the process, not just in the excitement to see what will happen.
1 Peter 5:10 And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
